Christine Vanoppen (born 1962) designs her glass art in dialogue with the surroundings and in the context of architecture.

The graphic aspect is a recurring feature, in which layering and the interplay of lines are important starting points. She finds the inspiration for her monumental works in architecture, but also in nature. Christine’s main aim is to make light visible through the various layers or structures of the transparent and coloured glass. This book highlights thirteen glass projects by means of text, designs, studio photos and the final result.
